EDUCATE. ENCOURAGE. EMPOWER

Diagnosis to type 1 diabetes is a tough one to take on the chin; even if you have a tough chin! It takes a lot to adjust to and seemingly can throw uppercuts when you least expect, so you have to keep your guard up all of the time in living with this condition; however, with great RESPONSIBILITY – as life with type 1 requires from keeping a check of blood sugars, taking appropriate doses of insulin and being prepared – comes a great POWER to achieve any goal you have in life.

At DiAthlete, we do not see diabetes as an enemy, we view it as a competitor; to be a champion, you have to respect your competitors in order to get the better of them.
